Holland Shipyards BV is a young shipbuilding company uniquely located on the Merwede River. Covering an area of 24,870 m2, the shipyard offers a great deal of potential in the form of a shipbuilding shop with a work surface area of 1580 m2, a slipway that can be used for the construction of vessels of up to 100 metres in length and a 245-metre mooring quay.
Partly due to its unique location and the know-how from the directly affiliated enterprise Instalho Scheepsbouw BV in Werkendam, Holland Shipyards is succeeding in breathing new life into an age-old Hardinxveld tradition.
